The Farsi weekly classes are structured into three levels: beginner, intermediate, advanced. Each level is divided into four sub-levels: A, B, C, and D.

For the Beginner levels we use "Complete Persian" by Teach Yourself.

About the Farsi Language

Farsi is one of the oldest languages in the world and dates back to the great Persian Empire of the 6th century BC. It is spoken by over 45 million people in Iran and more than 8 million in Afghanistan where it is known as Dari. It is the most important languages of the Iranian brach of the Indo-European family of languages. Persian originated in southern Iran in an area called Parsa, now still called Fars. Today the language is known as Farsi.
